Tuna of the Tree

Made by Gustable Foods in Pine Plains, NY

This tuna alternative is made using Jackfruit. When harvested young, this tree grown fruit tastes mild and meaty - it is often used in vegan meat alternatives.

Tuna of the tree is made of organic, young jackfruit, organic lemon juice, organic nori seaweed and flavorful spices. It has a texture and taste of classic Tunafish.

Follow this simple recipe to make tuna salad:

Ingredients

2 oz. Tuna of the Tree (half a container)

1-2 Tablespoons of your favorite Mayonaisse

1 teaspoon finely chopped onion

1 teaspoon finely chopped celery

Directions:

1. Boil 2 cups of water and pour over 1 pouch in a large pitcher.

2. Steep for 15 minutes and then fill with 6 cups of cold water.

3. Remove pouch and gently squeeze it.

4. Garnish with lemon, orange slice or fresh mint.

A2 Yogurt from Old Chatham Creamery, Groton, NY

Old Chatham Creamery makes certified non-GMO sheep, goat, and cow milk into yogurts and award winning cheeses.

A2 Yogurt is made with whole cow milk that contains 100% A2 protein, which "may be easier to digest and may be more beneficial for long-term health". This yogurt contained beneficial probiotics and no artificial flavors or sweeteners.

Sour Humanoid Vinegar, New York, NY

Sour Humanoid vinegar is naturally fermented, unfiltered, and unpasteurized. The four different varieties can be used in so many dishes to help elevate the flavors of the meal.

Madeira Sichuan Calendula

Madeira is dessert wine, calendula is an orange flower that tastes similar to saffron, green sichuan peppercorns are used which add a light white flower/citrus aroma. This product is not spicy. Amazing with soy sauce for dipping or with a salad. Delicious with pulled pork.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Shiitake Mushroom Thyme

Aged 6+ months "solera style" in bourbon barrels infused with fresh herbs. Phenomenal with roasted veggies or as a finished to roasted meats.

Lemongrass Tequila

Less than 0.5% abv. Made with real tequila blanco. Brings bright freshness to any dish. Nice with Mexican food and really great for quick pickles and chicken.

Sake Kelp Bay Leaf

Made with organic sugar kelp from Maine and infused with fresh bay leaf. Has a very slight sweetness. Amazing with fish, goes well with quick pickles, or Asian cuisine.

Dandelion Greens Superfood Pesto

Our popular pesto vendor has an exciting new flavor - dandelion greens! In case you didn't know, dandelions are edible (and good for you). You can even eat the yellow flowers or make a coffee alternative from the root. This pesto uses the greens in place of the basil to add antioxidants and immune boosting health benefits to your pesto dish. Dandelions greens have a taste similar to spinach or arugula.
