Our 2024 Guide to Dutchess County Apple Orchards this season!

Welcome to apple season!

The Hudson Valley is filled with amazing apple orchards with ripe fruit from the end of August through November. We want to highlight a couple of orchards located in Dutchess County that you can visit to pick your own apples, and enjoy food, cider, and family activities. Be sure to make plans to visit an orchard before the season is over! 

Grieg Farm in Red Hook

Make Grieg Farm a destination this season! The farm is open every day for picking. While there, check out the farm market and cafe, the taproom, and food truck on the weekends. You can also take a hike along the farm trails anytime! Visit www.thegreigfarm.com for more information.

Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction

Fishkill Farms grows eco-certified and organic apples, in addition to other organic fruits! While you are there, you can get a drink and enjoy the view of the farm at the Treasury Cider bar, grab a meal at the Outdoor Grill, visit the Farm Store, and take a hay ride. Barton Orchards in Poughquag

Barton Orchards in Poughquag offers a pick-your-own experience as well as all kinds of entertainment for the whole family. During the weekend, you can find live music and special events. Pick your own is available every day during the week. Find more information at www.bartonorchards.com

Rose Hill Farm in Red Hook

Rose Hill Farm uses holistic management practices to produce tasty fruit on healthy soils! You can visit the farm Thursday through Sunday to pick your own apples and visit the Taproom for wine or cider. Every weekend there are events on the farm and food trucks to grab a bite to eat from!
